Cambridge Lodge - Sydney

The location of the hotel was great, as it was close to the main road and easy to find. It was also within walking distance to a theatre where we had a New Year's function. The convenience of being able to walk back to the hotel after the event felt safe and saved us from dealing with transportation.

The room I stayed in happened to be located next to a communal kitchen, which wouldn't have been a big issue if it wasn't for a large group of noisy travelers who kept me awake with their late-night chatting. Although they did eventually stop before midnight, it was still quite bothersome and affected my sleep.

If u arrive late in the eve isn't that easy to find! 2 separate building, main with reception in the building on the right street ( face to the dormitory ) Wifi didn't work at the beginning so i had to works on it to use!not every guest had my problem so u may be lucky, anyway i've fix it!

The accommodation is basic compact and clean. The towels have seen better days. The back patio is nice for having the supplied continental breakfast. Close to Stanmore Station & a nice Lebanese restaurant in Liberty St.

The towels need replacing.

The location and room were great for what you pay for. We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the value for money. The gentleman at reception was friendly and professional. The bathrooms, although a bit old, were clean and the communal environment felt caring. The presence of a fan and television in the room added to our comfort. The breakfast, free of charge, was excellent and a money-saving bonus.

Great location, only a short walk to the train station and close to the city center. The place was clean and comfortable. They provided a basic breakfast with tea, coffee, toast, and cereal.

The bed was very creaky, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The lockers were small and located in a common area, which was inconvenient.

During my recent stay at Cambridge Lodge, I was impressed with the value for money and the convenient location. The dormitory rooms were comfortable and the shared bathrooms were kept clean. I particularly appreciated the easy check-in and check-out process, even without a receptionist present. The hostel also had a pleasant dining area and offered a free breakfast, a nice bonus.

Staff are friendly and it has Aussie environment as it locates right across a park!! Free on street parking ... It is convenient if you rent a car as well.. Its location is not as convenient but overall the best hostel I ever stayed!!!!!

had an amazing long weekend in sydney, stayed at a super friendly and helpful lodge. comfortable, easy parking, great location. lovely backpacker lodge for young people to have fun in this fantastic city. easy walk to newtown for partying and quick access to trains into the city.
